GYM MEMBERSHIP PAYS FOR ITSELF WITH FITNESS FIRST
The fitness industry’s first loyalty scheme has arrived with the launch of First Club Member Benefits from Fitness First.
Designed to both add value and reward loyalty the FIRST CLUB programme has been established with high profile partners which include Thomas Cook, Superdrug, Waterstones and utility giant npower. Member Benefits are available to all Fitness First members, with additional rewards for those who have been members for more than a year.
Fitness First managing director John Gamble said that as an industry leader Fitness First has been able to put together an unbeatable package which can net average spending members around £370 a year – covering the cost of the membership itself.
“We want to be able to thank and reward our members and the feedback has been tremendous, particularly the inclusion of a utility company,’’ said John. “Members can reap rewards as soon as they join and the mix of household names means that savings can be made on everyday purchases.’’
Discounts include eight per cent off Thomas Cook holidays, 25 per cent off RAC breakdown cover, 20 per cent off Prezzo visits and discounts on a number of attractions around the country.
After a year all members will be upgraded to First Club with additional benefits including being able to take a friend to the club free at weekends and a free annual body MOT.
“First Club means that all members receive exclusive offers, discounts and rewards while those who have been members for more than a year will automatically benefit from additional rewards,’’ said Mr Gamble.
First Club members are issued with individual key fobs and have access to a dedicated website which features all discounts and redemption information.
