Victoria Pendleton Pro Cycling is a brand new group cycling class exclusive to Fitness First,
based on the training programmes, techniques and events of 9 times World Champion and double Olympic Gold Medallist, Victoria Pendleton. Whether it’s the Team Sprint, Individual Sprint or Keirin version of the class, each 30 minute high intensity interval cycling session is set to some of Victoria’s favourite tunes and is guaranteed to make you sweat!
The Team Sprint - Power
This fast paced group cycling class focuses around power. With short 15 second burst sprints set at a high resistance followed by a race element where riders work in teams, this class simulates one of Victoria’s events; the Team Sprint.
The Individual Sprint - Speed
Focussing around speed interval training, this class ends with a cat and mouse race where one rider will lead the sprint to the finish. Guaranteed to get the blood pumping!
The Keirin - Endurance
Inspired by another of Victoria’s events, this endurance based class focuses on slightly longer bursts of interval training followed by short recovery periods. The race ends with a 4 lap Keirin high intensity race which will leave riders hanging on until the end!
