Swap a bad habit for a good one

Jenny, from Eastbourne, decided to make changes to her lifestyle after losing her husband to cancer and suffering a frightening chest infection that caused her to cough up blood.

Jenny was a heavy smoker and regularly used inhalers for asthma. She chose to swap a bad habit for a good one and gave up smoking and joined Fitness First. Then Jenny met her new partner, an experienced bodybuilder. He introduced her to the sport and helped Jenny get her eating under control.

From heavy smoking to healthy eating

She spent approximately 1 year training in the gym before competing in various competitions, winning a trophy for Best Women’s Physique and several medals along the way. Jenny is now working towards qualifying for the UK Championships and continues to keep fit and maintain her healthy eating.
