Get a behind the scenes glimpse into the preparation, training and life of London 2012 rowing gold medallist Helen Glover as she starts her one year countdown to the 2016 Rio Olympic Games.

Three years ago rower Helen Glover became a household name when alongside Heather Stanning in the coxless pair, she won Team GBs first gold medal of the London 2012 Olympics. Since then she has gone on to become the first woman to hold the Olympic, World and European titles for the coxless pair and with just one year till Rio 2016, Glover has Olympic gold in her sights again.

We caught up with her to find out what a typical day in her life looks like, from training on and off the water, to her diet and downtime, as she ramps up preparations.
