The lying quad stretch exercise is a great way of releasing the tension which can accumulate in the quadriceps. It is important to breathe normally throughout each stretch to avoid overstretching.
Step 1. Lie flat on your front with your arms and legs extended.
Step 2. Lift one heel up towards your bottom and take hold of it with your hands. Pull your heel as close to your bottom as you can and hold for desired length of time.
