Frequently asked questions

What are the benefits of a Rise class?

A Rise class provides all the benefits of a high-intensity cardio workout. You’ll improve your cardiovascular system, strengthen your muscles and torch calories in the process.

What can I expect from a step class?

Using a step, you’ll follow the movements of your instructor to upbeat music, stepping up, down and around and engaging muscles all over your body.

How many calories can you burn in a step class?

The amount of calories you’ll burn in a step class is dependent on your build and how intense your workout is.  For example, a low-intensity step class can burn around 400 calories, whereas you could see yourself burning over 600 calories in a high-intensity class.

Do I need to have experience?

You don’t need any previous experience to get involved in a step class. Your instructor will start you off with basic steps to begin with, so you’ll have no trouble keeping up.
