Located in the heart of Covent Garden, Fitness First Strand is one of the best places to combine your fitness regime with culture, healthy eats and so much more. The Strand gym is kitted out with state-of-the-art equipment and facilities, which include a cardio theatre, spin studio, freestyle floor, sauna and members’ lounge.  There’s a packed timetable of exercise classes, from the ones you’d expect, including Spin, Circuit, BODYPUMPTM and yoga to those that are just a little bit different such as our burlesque dance classes, which use a great combination of dance styles to improve your strength, flexibility and endurance.

At Fitness First Strand our classes have been designed to suit different levels of fitness. There’s a real choice depending on where you are on the fitness scale and how far you want to go. To create a training plan to achieve your fitness goals why not work alongside one of our personal trainers? They provide support, will help improve your technical skills and keep you motivated, so that you really can make every session count.

Once you’ve completed your workout and feel re-energised, why not make the most of what’s on close by? On the doorstep, you’ll find a tantalising array of shops, from gorgeous fashion to fabulous jewellery. There’s also larger-than-life street entertainment, the best West End shows and some very healthy places to eat. Take your pick from  Wild Food Café above Neal’s Yard, which has a focus on raw eating,  Lab Organic with its cold-pressed juices, detox plans and cleanses, or Gauthier Soho the renowned townhouse restaurant where calorie counts are displayed on the menus, so you can plan your culinary adventure without jeopardising your fitness regime.
