Frequently asked questions about Rub Club

What is a Run Club class?

A Run Club class is a guided running session led by an experienced run leader. The class may include steady endurance running, interval training and structured routes designed to help improve stamina, pacing and overall cardiovascular fitness while running as part of a group.

Is Run Club suitable for beginners?

Run Club sessions are designed to support different levels of running experience. Participants can run at a pace that suits their ability while building endurance and confidence over time, making the class accessible for beginners as well as more experienced runners.

What should I wear to a running class?

Wear comfortable running clothing and supportive running shoes suitable for outdoor training. Breathable sportswear that allows full movement will help you stay comfortable during the session, and bringing water is recommended to stay hydrated during longer runs.

What are the benefits of joining a Run Club?

Joining a run club helps improve cardiovascular fitness, endurance and running technique. Training in a group can also increase motivation and accountability, making it easier to stay consistent while working towards personal fitness or running goals.

How many calories can you burn in a running class?

A running class can burn between 400 and 700 calories depending on the intensity of the session and individual pace. Structured intervals and steady running both contribute to an effective cardiovascular workout that supports calorie burn and overall fitness.

How do I find running classes near me?
