Vinyasa means “movement linked with breath” in this form of yoga postures are strung together in a short or longer flow but not in a set sequence so every class can be different. It's a slightly more vigorous style of yoga than some other styles where you will synchronise your breathing with a progressive series of postures -sun salutations, and poses. As part of the practice you will Re-align the spine, build strength and flexibility and encourage detoxification of the body.
As this style of yoga is often quite dynamic, you need to stay alert and focused to keep up with the flow of the practice - you haven't got time for your mind to wander!
